Thanks to the use of a cogeneration system in Tarnobrzeg, after a year it will be possible to observe a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 35,000 Mg/year and a reduction in primary energy consumption of approximately 92,000 GJ/year.
Investment implementation: Construction of a high-efficiency gas cogeneration source with a capacity of 8 MWe and 7.6 MWt in Tarnobrzeg – GUK II. The implementation includes the development of the project, delivery and assembly in a dedicated building and commissioning of four CAT G3516H cogeneration units, powered by natural gas.
Additionally, the scope of work includes the construction of an electricity connection to the Tarnobrzeg GPZ point.
