Dedicated fuel systems
Generator sets are sources of standby power supply. They are used for generating power during grid breakdowns. The generator sets are started automatically after a programmed delay from the line voltage failure or when the parameters of power supplied by the grid exceed the limits acceptable for a given facility. The maximum operating time of the generator sets depends not only on the capacity of the equipment itself, but mainly on the type of fuel system used, or more precisely on the quantity of stored fuel.
The fuel systems designed by our team of engineers guarantee efficient operation of the entire standby power supply system.
The fuel systems we construct ensure the required autonomy of operation of each standby power supply system.
Scope of work
We provide a comprehensive service involving the construction of fuel systems for generator sets, from obtaining a building permit throughout the commissioning (CX) process, which is a multi-step process of system inspections and approvals. The systems are constructed according to established international standards.
The design process is tailored to the Project Owner’s needs and to the system for which the design is being prepared and for which the fuel system will be constructed.
We supply:
- Main fuel storage tanks with systems of fuel transfer pumps (certified by the Office of Technical Inspection)
- Intermediate tanks
- Control automation systems
- Systems supervising fuel system operation
- We carry out the entire process of inspecting and approving the fuel systems designed and constructed by our company
