Market forecasts indicate that the total capacity of Poland\u2019s DC infrastructure is set to nearly triple, exceeding 500 MW by 2030. This target places Poland among the fastest-growing data center ecosystems in Europe.<\/p>\n<h2>Hyperscale Expansion and Energy Challenges<\/h2>\n<p>The main driving force behind this growth is hyperscalers and cloud service providers. The presence of global leaders such as Equinix, EdgeConneX, DATA4, Microsoft, Amazon, and Google confirms strong confidence in the Polish market. A clear example of the scale of investment is Microsoft\u2019s announcement from February 2025 regarding PLN 2.8 billion (approx. USD 700 million) allocated to the expansion of AI and cloud infrastructure in Poland.<\/p>\n<p>This rapid growth is generating unprecedented energy challenges. Applications submitted to the Polish Transmission System Operator (PSE) for data center connections amount to a total requested capacity of 13 GW. While UPS systems bridge short power gaps, it is the generators that take over the full facility load during prolonged outages.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve the highest standards, such as Tier III or Tier IV certifications from the Uptime Institute, power redundancy is essential. This involves installing multiple generators operating in parallel.
